Funfair DT in Year Five

Within our DT lessons, we’ve been thinking about mechanisms to design and create our own funfair rides. The children used their computing knowledge of crumbles to control the speed of the rotation of the ride and how long the experience lasted.

Sports Day in Year One

Year One races their socks off at sports day! ⚽️ They tested their determination and PE skills and also showed super resilience when racing! ⭐️ They also showed compassion for each other, cheering and clapping everyone who took part showing super sportsmanship! Amazing! You are all champions! 🥇

Orienteering in Year Five

Within our recent P.E. lessons, we’ve been looking at orienteering. The children have been strategically navigating themselves around school and answering topical retrieval questions when there. It has been lovely to see lots of effective communication and teamwork!  

Science Day in Reception

This week we held a whole school science day. Reception’s focus was forces. They were investigating magnets, floating and sinking, rolling, spinning and floating. It was a fabulous day and the children came away with lots of new learning.
