We have been working closely with the Local Authority this afternoon to plan how we can continue to effectively meet the needs of our community in this continuously evolving situation.
As per the advice from the Prime Minister we are continuing to ask parents, where possible, to care for their children at home whilst we find ourselves in the initial stages of lock down. Please be reminded that Hillside’s provision is for EMERGENCY CHILDCARE ONLY for children whose parents are key workers critical to the COVID-19 Response.
If you know that you fit this criteria we are now asking for advance bookings, where possible, in order for us to safeguard children and staff adequately and also provide food as necessary. By 8.00am each day please email the school (office@hillsideprimary.org.uk) with your essential needs for that day specifying when your child will be collected and whether they need a school packed lunch provided.
- PLEASE keep you child at home to reduce the spread of the virus.
- PLEASE support staff as much as possible at this extremely challenging and unprecedented time.
